Welcome to Turkey! Upon your arrival at Istanbul International Airport (IST), you’ll go through immigration and collect your luggage. Then, head to our meeting point located at Gate 8 in the arrivals area. A representative will be waiting to assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Once you arrive, check in at the hotel and enjoy some free time. We suggest taking the afternoon to explore the area around your hotel or savor a traditional Turkish dinner at a local restaurant. Get ready for an exciting adventure in this vibrant city! Overnight accommodation.

DAY 2 • ISTANBUL

At the indicated time, departure to enjoy the “Pearls of the Golden Horn and Bosphorus” excursion. Departure around 08:00 AM (time to be confirmed by the guide) (includes lunch at a traditional restaurant): Visit the old Jewish neighborhood in Balat, the Greek neighborhood in Fener, and enjoy the magnificent views of the “Golden Horn”; then visit the St. George Cathedral, the main patriarchate of the Greek Orthodox Church; continue to the Suleymaniye Mosque, designed by the Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan, which has the largest dome of all the mosques in Istanbul. Next, head to the Spice Bazaar, a place with a special charm due to its color and aroma, the perfect spot to buy teas, herbs, dried fruits, typical sweets, and of course, spices. The excursion culminates with a boat ride through the Bosphorus, the strait that divides the city between Europe and Asia, where we’ll enjoy stunning views of Ottoman fortresses, palaces, villas, and the bridges that connect both sides of the city. Day off, but you can also choose the optional excursion "Gems of Constantinople" (includes lunch at a typical restaurant): Departure at approximately 08:00 (time to be confirmed by the guide) for a tour of the historic center of the city, where you will observe the variety of remains from the different empires that shaped modern Istanbul: the Roman Hippodrome, the center of social life in Constantinople for thousands of years, where you will also learn about the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Obelisk of Constantine, and the German Fountain; the Blue Mosque, with its more than 20,000 handmade ceramic tiles brought from Iznik; enjoy a panoramic view of Hagia Sophia, built in 537 as an architectural wonder that has served as a church, mosque, and also museum. From the outside, the structure impresses with its enormous dome, which was an astonishing technical achievement in its time and remains one of the largest domes in the world. We will continue with the majestic Topkapi Palace, home to the Ottoman sultans for more than 400 years, where we will visit the beautiful royal gardens, the kitchens, and the royal treasure rooms. Discover the mysterious Harem, where the sultan’s wives and children lived, famous for its luxurious decoration. We will continue with the Church of Aya Irini, a Byzantine church that was never converted into a mosque, and finish our tour at the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, where bargaining is a tradition. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy some free time to relax and explore the area at your leisure. Overnight accommodation.

Set out to explore the fascinating region of Cappadocia, renowned for its unique landscape formed by volcanic lava over 3 million years ago. Begin your visit at the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a monastery featuring chapels carved into volcanic rocks, adorned with 13th-century frescoes. Next, tour the stunning valleys of the region, where you can admire the iconic "Fairy Chimneys" and enjoy panoramic views of the spectacular geological formations. You will then visit one of Cappadocia's underground cities, an incredible feat of engineering built by ancient communities to protect themselves from attacks throughout history. At the end of the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a carpet center, where you can learn about the artisanal production of these beautiful pieces, and a gemstone center known for its exclusive regional jewelry designs. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Departure approximately at 06:00 (time to be confirmed by the guide) towards Pamukkale to visit the ancient Hierapolis and the Cotton Castle, a true natural wonder, featuring a giant waterfall, stalactites, and natural pools. The name "Hierapolis" is derived from Greek and means "sacred city," referring to the numerous temples and religious sites that existed in the city. One of the most notable features of Hierapolis was its famous theater, which could hold thousands of spectators and is still largely preserved today. The city became renowned as a popular spa and healing destination due to its natural thermal waters and white calcite pools. These mineral-rich waters created impressive natural terraces and waterfalls known as "Pamukkale," which means "cotton castle" in Turkish. Pamukkale and Hierapolis are listed together as UNESCO World Heritage Sites due to their historical significance and natural beauty. The region is also known for its cotton production, and we will have the opportunity to explore locally made textile products. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 7 • PAMUKKALE - SELÇUK - IZMIR/KUSADASI

At the scheduled time, we will begin our visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, located on a nearby hill. This site is considered the final home of Jesus' mother, who, according to Christian tradition, spent her last years in Ephesus under the care of the Apostle John. Today, the house is an important pilgrimage center for both Christians and Muslims, revered as a sacred site. Next, we will take a panoramic tour of Selçuk, where we will appreciate its rich history, including the majestic Ottoman castle, the Basilica of St. John, and the Temple of Artemis—all significant elements that have made Ephesus a prominent religious and cultural center in antiquity. We will then proceed to a specialized showroom featuring leather products, where you can admire high-quality items made from lambskin, known for their lightness. Enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation.
