At the scheduled time, we will begin our excursion to Monserrate Hill, one of Bogotá’s most iconic landmarks. From there, we will ascend to the top of the mountain either by funicular or cable car, where we will be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and its surroundings. Next, we will head to the Gold Museum, which houses the largest and most valuable collection of pre-Hispanic goldwork in the world. This fascinating museum offers a unique insight into the indigenous cultures that once inhabited the region, showcasing their skill in crafting gold and other precious metals. Finally, we will conclude the tour with a walking stroll through Bogotá’s Historic Center, where we will explore the city’s main architectural, historical, and cultural landmarks. During the tour, we will visit the impressive Colón Theater, the Palace of San Carlos, the iconic Bolívar Square, and the majestic Primada Cathedral of Colombia, among other significant sites that tell the rich history and heritage of the capital. At the scheduled time, we will depart to one of the most iconic destinations in Colombia: the First Tourist Wonder of the country and the second-largest salt cathedral in the world! We will head to the town of Zipaquirá, located 49 km north of Bogotá, where the impressive Salt Cathedral stands 180 meters underground. Along the way, travelers will have the chance to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Bogotá Savannah, an expansive plain surrounded by mountains that offers stunning panoramic views. The Salt Cathedral is considered one of Colombia's most important architectural and artistic achievements. Inside, visitors can walk along the Stations of the Cross, admire its majestic Dome, the Choir, and the Narthex Complex—spaces that showcase both human talent and the profound religious significance of this underground monument. Its importance is not only architectural but also cultural and religious, making it a pilgrimage site for thousands of faithful and tourists each year. This site is not only an architectural gem but also a testament to human ingenuity in transforming a natural resource into a work of art that endures as an integral part of Colombia’s heritage. Start the day with breakfast at the hotel and prepare for an exciting day of exploration in the Coffee Region. One of the highlights will be the tour to Cocora Valley, a breathtaking natural wonder located just outside Salento, where you’ll be amazed by the towering wax palms—the tallest palm trees in the world. Surrounded by lush green hills and misty clouds, the valley offers one of the most stunning landscapes in Colombia. After a scenic walk through the valley, we will continue to Salento, a charming colonial town known for its colorful houses, handicraft shops, and vibrant atmosphere. You’ll have time to explore the town and perhaps try some local delicacies. Next, we will visit Filandia, another picturesque town in the Coffee Region, renowned for its traditional architecture and panoramic views of the surrounding coffee farms and mountains. You’ll have some free time to stroll through its cobblestone streets, visit local markets, and soak in the beauty of this quaint town. Return to the hotel for some free time to relax. Overnight stay.

Depart from the hotel in Pereira for an unforgettable journey to Cocora Valley, located in the heart of the Quindío department. Along the way, you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Coffee Region as we approach one of Colombia’s most stunning natural areas. Upon arrival at Cocora Valley, you will be amazed by the Wax Palms, the national tree of Colombia, set against the impressive backdrop of Los Nevados National Natural Park. You will have the opportunity to walk among these towering palms and immerse yourself in the natural surroundings that make this valley one of the most visited spots in the country. After exploring the valley, we will head to Salento, one of the most picturesque towns in Quindío, famous for its colorful colonial streets and relaxed atmosphere. Here, you can stroll through the handicraft shops and enjoy the unique vibe of this charming town. Take some time to savor a delicious traditional meal at one of the local restaurants, where you can sample regional dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Following lunch, we will continue on to Filandia, another lovely town known for its well-preserved colorful architecture and peaceful ambiance. You will have the chance to walk through its cobblestone streets, discover artisan workshops, and soak in the relaxed pace of life. Feel free to explore the village at your own pace, enjoy a cup of local coffee, or shop for handmade crafts before continuing the tour. After a day filled with nature, culture, and coffee traditions, we will return to the hotel in Pereira. Arrival at the hotel and overnight stay.

At the designated time, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Cartagena (flight included). Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel for check-in and accommodation.

At the scheduled time, we will begin our day with a panoramic tour of Cartagena Bay, famous for its beautiful beaches and vibrant commercial atmosphere. As we cruise its waters, we will enjoy spectacular views, surrounded by the rich history that has shaped this port city over the centuries. Next, we will head to the charming Manga neighborhood, where the blend of republican-style architecture and modern skyscrapers creates a fascinating contrast, reflecting Cartagena’s evolution over time. We will then visit the San Felipe de Barajas Castle, a magnificent 17th-century fortress built by the Spanish to protect the city from pirate attacks and later, English incursions. This castle, considered one of the greatest military engineering feats of the era, offers panoramic views and a deep dive into Cartagena's history. Afterward, we will take a walk through the Historic Center, exploring its cobblestone streets, lively squares, and colonial buildings that transport us to the splendor of colonial Cartagena. Once the walk is over, we will return to the hotel for a short rest. In the evening, we will head out for a Chiva Bus Tour, aboard a traditional colorful bus filled with music and joy. This nighttime tour of the city begins with a ride through Cartagena's main tourist areas, accompanied by lively crossover music. Along the way, we will make strategic stops at iconic landmarks like the "Monumento de los Zapatos Viejos" and in front of San Felipe Castle, where you can take photos and learn more about these emblematic sites. This vibrant experience will give us a different view of Cartagena, illuminated and full of nightlife.

At the scheduled time, we will depart for a day trip to Isla del Encanto. We will board a speedboat for an exciting 60-minute journey to Isla del Encanto, located in the idyllic Rosario Islands archipelago. During the trip, you will enjoy spectacular views of Cartagena Bay as we enter the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean. Upon our arrival at the island, we will be welcomed with fresh fruit and a brief introduction to the services available on the island. Isla del Encanto features a private beach, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the marine surroundings. It is a paradise for sea lovers, where you can swim, snorkel, or simply unwind under the Caribbean sun. Throughout the day, you will have time to enjoy the beach, and at lunchtime, you will savor a delicious traditional meal with authentic local flavors. We will return to Cartagena Bay around 3:30 PM. Afterward, you will have the afternoon free to explore or relax at your leisure. Return to the hotel for overnight accommodation.

HOTELS

  • The mentioned hotels are for reference only and are commonly used for this type of tour. However, upon confirming the services, please note that the confirmed hotels may be different but of equal category.
  • Triple Rooms: A rollaway bed will be provided in addition to the double bed. The availability of this rollaway bed is subject to hotel confirmation at the time of booking. If you prefer three single beds, please be aware that this request is subject to the hotel's policies and may result in changes to the room category and price.
  • Cribs and Bed Types:** Requests for cribs or specific bed types (Twin, King, Queen) are subject to availability at the hotel at the time of booking.
  • Check-in is available from 3:30 PM, and check-out must be completed before 12:00 PM.

ITINERARY AND VISITS

  • The contracted transportation allows for one piece of luggage up to 23 kg and one carry-on up to 8 kg per person. If there is excess baggage, the possibility of including it without additional cost will be evaluated, subject to the vehicle's capacity.

CHILD POLICY

  • Infants (under 1.99 years): Only pay air taxes. The exact amount is confirmed when the ticket is issued. However, if the infant requires a special seat or any other equipment for the vehicle, please inform us at the time of booking so we can accommodate these needs.
  • Children (ages 2 to 10 years): Children in this age group pay the child rate.
  • Children (11 years and older): Children over 11 years old pay the adult rate.
