Upon your arrival in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China, you will be assisted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free. Accommodation.

DAY 2 • BEIJING

Today, we will have the opportunity to explore some of Beijing's most iconic landmarks, such as the Imperial Palace, also known as the "Forbidden City," Tiananmen Square, one of the largest in the world, and the Summer Palace, an ancient garden once reserved for the imperial family during the Qing Dynasty. During the tour, we will make a stop to enjoy an included lunch. In the evening, those who wish may opt to join an optional excursion to the "Acrobatics Show" (not included).

DAY 3 • BEIJING
DAY 3 • BEIJING

At the scheduled time, we will begin our excursion to the impressive Great Wall, visiting either the Juyongguan or Badaling section, as determined by the guide. This architectural wonder, over 2,000 years old, will leave us in awe with its grandeur and historical significance. A lunch will be included during the tour. In the afternoon, we will return to the city, making a brief stop to take photos of the National Stadium, known as the "Bird’s Nest," and the National Aquatics Center, the "Water Cube" (without entering the stadiums). To end the day, we will enjoy a delicious welcome dinner featuring the famous Peking Duck. Overnight accommodation.

DAY 4 • BEIJING – XI'AN

Tour of the majestic Temple of Heaven, a 267-hectare structure built in 1420, where emperors held ceremonies to ensure abundant harvests. Afterwards, enjoy lunch (included). In the afternoon, transfer to the train station to board the high-speed train in Tourist Class to Xi'an*. Upon arrival in Xi'an, a city with over 3,000 years of history and the only walled city in China, famous as the starting point of the legendary "Silk Road," transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

*Note: Option to take a flight from Beijing to Xi'an. (Check for supplement, includes transfer to the airport).

DAY 5 • XI’AN

Today we will explore the Museum of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, home to over 6,000 life-sized figures representing a vast army of soldiers, horses, and war chariots, which guard the tomb of Emperor Qin. Lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda (no interior access), located within the Jianfu Temple, about one kilometer south of downtown Xi'an. We will end with a tour of the Muslim Quarter (no entry to the Great Mosque). Overnight accommodation.

DAY 6 • XI’AN – CHONGQING
DAY 6 • XI’AN – CHONGQING

Transfer to the train station to board the "high-speed train to Chongqing." Upon arrival in the city, you will enjoy a panoramic tour before heading to the port to embark on the Century Cruises or Victoria Cruises (depending on the available departure*). Dinner and overnight on board.

*Note: If weather conditions prevent the ships from docking at the Chongqing pier, the cruise company will provide buses to transfer passengers to an alternative embarkation port. Please note that this transfer will take approximately two and a half hours, and the staff will only speak Chinese. These changes, beyond the control of the trip organizer, will be made without prior notice and no refunds will be provided.

DAY 7 • YANGTZE GORGE CRUISE

Depending on the boarded ship, one of the following excursions will be offered:

  • Century Cruises: Land excursion to the Ghost City of Fengdu (the cable car is not included for the round trip).
  • Victoria Cruises: Land excursion to the Sacred Area of the Jade Emperor or to the village of Shi Bao Zhai.

DAY 8 • YANGTZE GORGE CRUISE

In the morning, we will explore the two Gorges: Qutangxia (8 km) and Wuxia (45 km). In the afternoon, we will take a cruise on the Goddess River (Shennv) or on the Shennong Stream (depending on the cruise company’s operational schedule).

DAY 9 • CRUISE – YICHANG – SHANGHAI
DAY 9 • CRUISE – YICHANG – SHANGHAI

In the morning, disembark and depart by bus for a visit to the impressive and world-renowned Three Gorges Dam. Afterwards, we will continue by bus to the city of Yichang. Next, transfer to the Yichang train station to board the high-speed train to Shanghai. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check-in and accommodation.

DAY 10 • SHANGHAI

At the scheduled time, depart to visit the Yuyuan Garden, the Jade Buddha Temple, and the City’s Bund. Lunch included. At the end of the tour, return to the hotel for check-in and accommodation.

Note: The visit to Shanghai may take place on the 7th, depending on circumstances beyond our control.

Free day. We recommend visiting:

  • Bund Walk: A stroll along the Huangpu River, offering spectacular views of the colonial architecture and modern skyscrapers of Shanghai.
  • Visit to the Shanghai Tower: Ascend one of the tallest skyscrapers in the world for stunning panoramic views of the city.
  • Xintiandi District: A pedestrian area that blends traditional Shanghai architecture with modern cafés, restaurants, and shops, perfect for a leisurely walk and enjoying the cosmopolitan atmosphere.
