DAY 1 • TOKYO
DAY 1 • TOKYO

Arrival at Narita or Haneda International Airport

NARITA (NRT): After completing immigration and customs procedures, you will be greeted by a Spanish-speaking assistant who will help you board the Airport Limousine Bus (a regular shared service) to your hotel.

  • The assistant will not board the bus or accompany passengers to the hotel.
  • Depending on the flight arrival time, there may not be a direct Airport Limousine Bus service to the hotel. In this case, you will need to take a bus to Tokyo Station, where you will then take a taxi (the assistant will provide the necessary taxi fare).
  • If the Airport Limousine Bus service is unavailable, an alternative transfer (train + taxi or other means of transportation) will be provided.

HANEDA (HND): After passing through immigration and customs, a Spanish-speaking assistant will greet you. You will then be transferred to the hotel by taxi. The assistant will not accompany passengers in the taxi or escort them to the hotel.


Note:

  • On this first day, a guide will be available at the hotel from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM to provide information to guests.
  • Please note that you will not be able to access your room until the check-in time (3:00 PM).
DAY 2 • TOKIO

At 8:20 AM, we will meet in the lobby to begin a group tour in Tokyo with a Spanish-speaking guide. The tour will start at the Meiji Shrine, dedicated to Emperor Meiji (Mutsuhito), followed by a visit to the Imperial Palace Plaza (without access to the palace grounds), and finally, the Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise Street, famous for its souvenir shops. Around 1:00 PM, the tour will end in Ginza, and you will have the afternoon free. Return to the hotel will be on your own. (The guide will explain to passengers how to return to the hotel). There is an optional excursion available at an additional cost: "TEA CEREMONY" IN ASAKUSA. At 12:45 PM, after the visit to Senso-ji Temple and the walk through Nakamise shopping street in Asakusa, participants will meet with a Spanish-speaking assistant. The meeting point will be indicated by the guide during the tour. From there, you will walk to the location where the tea ceremony will take place. The ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM. During the activity: An introduction to the meaning and ritual of the tea ceremony will be provided. A Japanese tea master will demonstrate the entire process. Participants will taste a traditional Japanese sweet and enjoy matcha tea prepared during the ceremony. At the end, there will be time for souvenir photos.

Notes:

  • Participants in this optional excursion will not join the group bus ride to Ginza.
  • It is necessary to wear socks in order to participate in the tea ceremony.
  • Lunch is NOT included. If you're hungry, please have something light during your free time in Nakamise Street in Asakusa.
  • The activity must be reserved at least one month prior to your trip to Japan.
DAY 3 • TOKYO – HAKONE – TOKYO
DAY 3 • TOKYO – HAKONE – TOKYO

At 7:50 a.m., we will meet in the hotel lobby to begin our full-day excursion to Hakone, accompanied by a Spanish-speaking guide. We will start with a relaxing boat ride on Lake Ashi, followed by a visit to the Hakone-jinja Shrine, famous for its torii gate on the shores of the lake. Afterward, we will explore the Hakone Open-Air Museum, an impressive display of art in a natural setting. Lunch is included. At 5:00 p.m., we will return to the hotel.

NOTE: In case the boat is not operating due to heavy rain or wind, we will visit Hakone Sekishoato instead (a reconstructed checkpoint on an ancient highway).

DAY 4 • TOKYO – KYOTO – NARA – KYOTO
DAY 4 • TOKYO – KYOTO – NARA – KYOTO

At 8:00 a.m., we will meet in the lobby to transfer to Tokyo Station, accompanied by a Spanish-speaking assistant. At 9:21 a.m., we will depart on the Nozomi bullet train to Kyoto, with an estimated arrival at 11:32 a.m. at Kyoto Station, where a Spanish-speaking guide will meet us to begin our excursion. During the tour, we will visit Nara, where we will explore the impressive Todai-ji Temple, home to the famous colossal statue of Buddha, and stroll through Nara Park, known for its numerous deer. Afterward, we will head to Kyoto for check-in and accommodation.

Note:

  • When there are more than 40 passengers on a departure, a private truck is hired to transport the luggage from the hotel. In this case, the luggage will arrive in Kyoto later the same afternoon. However, during the low season, when the number of passengers is below 40, a regular delivery service is used instead of a private truck. In this case, the luggage will arrive at the Kyoto hotel the following day. Therefore, it is recommended that passengers bring a small backpack or carry-on with the essentials for the night.
  • Lunch is NOT included. We will have free time to have lunch on our own.
DAY 5 • KYOTO

At 8:20 AM, we will meet in the Lobby to begin our full-day tour of Kyoto, accompanied by a Spanish-speaking guide. During the tour, we will explore some of the city's most iconic landmarks: the Sanjusangendo Temple, famous for its thousand statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy; the Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its endless "torii" gates; the Kinkaku-Ji Temple, also called the Golden Pavilion; the Tenryu-Ji Temple, famous for its exquisite Japanese garden; and the Bamboo Forest of Sagano in Arashiyama. Lunch, which will be at a restaurant, is included. We will return to the hotel around 5:30 PM. Overnight accommodation.

DAY 6 • KYOTO

Free day for personal activities. Accommodation included. Option to take an optional excursion to "HIROSHIMA & MIYAJIMA." At 7:30 AM, we will meet in the hotel lobby with the Spanish-speaking guide, who will accompany us to the Kyoto station. At 8:26 AM, we will take the Nozomi bullet train, which will take us directly to Hiroshima, with an expected arrival at 10:01 AM to begin the tour. If the group is smaller than 10 people, the visit will be conducted using public transportation. However, if there are 10 or more passengers, we will have a private bus for the tour. During the excursion, we will visit the following iconic sites: the Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island, the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Museum, and the Atomic Bomb Dome. After the tour, we will travel to Hiroshima Station to take the train back to Kyoto. The departure is scheduled for 5:57 PM, with an expected arrival in Kyoto around 7:37 PM. Once at Kyoto Station, transportation to the hotel is the responsibility of the passengers, either by hotel shuttle bus or taxi.

DAY 7 • KIOTO – KANAZAWA

At 8:00 AM, we will meet in the hotel lobby with a Spanish-speaking guide, who will accompany us on a private bus transfer (depending on the number of passengers, it could be a minivan) to Kanazawa. We expect to arrive in Kanazawa around 12:00 PM, where we will begin a guided tour of the city. During this tour, we will visit Omicho Market, a vibrant and lively market famous for its sale of fish, seafood, vegetables, and other fresh products. We will then continue to the Higashichaya District, one of the most traditional and charming areas of the city, where we can immerse ourselves in the local culture. A stop at Kenrokuen Garden, one of Japan’s most iconic and beautiful gardens, is a must. Its landscaping and serenity will amaze us. Around 5:00 – 5:30 PM, we will transfer to the hotel in Kanazawa for check-in. Accommodation.

Note: One suitcase per person will be sent separately by truck from the hotel in Kyoto to the hotel in Osaka. Please carry a backpack with clothes and other essentials to spend one night in Kanazawa and another in Gero.

DAY 8 • KANAZAWA – SHIRAKAWAGO – TAKAYAMA – GERO

At 8:15 AM, we will meet in the lobby to begin our journey to Shirakawago, where we will be accompanied by a Spanish-speaking guide. Upon arrival, we will have the opportunity to admire the iconic Gasshozukuri-style houses, with their characteristic steep roofs that define the traditional architecture of the region. After this visit, we will continue to Takayama, where we will explore the charming historic district of Kamisannomachi, known for its souvenir shops and sake breweries. Later, we will visit the Yatai Kaikan, a museum that houses the majestic floats used in the famous Takayama Festival. To conclude the day, around 6:00 PM, we will transfer to the ryokan in Gero, where we will check-in and stay overnight.

ENJOY ONSEN BATHS (HOT SPRINGS)! The ryokan in Gero has hot spring baths. *There is a bath for women only and another for men only. *Traditionally, hotels and ryokans do not allow people with prominent tattoos to use the hot spring baths, as tattoos are associated with the Yakuza (Japanese mafia).

DAY 9 • GERO – NAGOYA

At 8:15 AM, we will meet in the lobby with a Spanish-speaking guide for a private bus transfer to Nagoya (depending on the number of passengers, it could be a minivan). We will arrive in Nagoya around 10:45 AM, where our Spanish-speaking guide will take us to visit the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology. Lunch will be on your own at one of the restaurants in the museum. Next, we will visit Nagoya Castle (please note that the main keep tower is closed and cannot be entered). We will also explore the Honmaru Goten Palace, which features beautifully painted paper sliding doors and walls. Around 5:00 PM, we will transfer to the hotel in Nagoya for check-in. Accommodation.

DAY 10 • NAGOYA – ISE – TOBA

Here’s the translation to American English: At 8:00 AM, we will meet in the lobby to depart for Ise, a journey of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Upon arrival, we will visit the Ise Shrine, the most important shrine in Japan, dedicated to the sun goddess, Amaterasu-omikami. We will then explore Oharaimachi Street and the alleyways of Okage-Yokocho, a picturesque district full of souvenir shops that preserves the traditional atmosphere of the samurai era. For lunch, we will head to the Ama Hut, where we will enjoy fresh seafood and fish caught and prepared by local female divers. Please note that there is no food alternative; if you do not wish to have seafood, you can find something to eat on your own at Oharaimachi Street. Next, we will visit the Mikimoto Pearl Island, where we will witness a diving demonstration and explore the museum dedicated to pearl cultivation, as well as a specialty shop. In case of bad weather, the demonstration may be canceled. Finally, we will arrive at the hotel in Toba around 4:30 PM for check-in and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Note: Luggage may be transported separately by truck from the hotel in Nagoya to the hotel in Osaka (if all the luggage fits in the vehicle’s trunk, there will be no need to send any luggage separately). In this case, passengers should prepare and carry a backpack with clothing and essentials for spending one night in Toba and another in Nachi-Katsuura.

DAY 11 • TOBA – ISE – KUMANO – NACHI - KATSUURA

At 8:30 AM, we will meet in the hotel lobby to depart for Ise in a private vehicle with a Spanish-speaking guide. There, we will visit Meotoiwa, a pair of rocks in the sea joined by a straw rope, a sacred symbol of the Shinto religion representing a harmonious marriage. We will then continue to Kumano, where we will explore Onigajo, an impressive set of rock formations and caves carved by the action of the sea and wind. In the afternoon, we will embark on a light trek along the famous Kumano Kodo, from Daimonzaka to the Nachi Waterfall (approximately 2 hours). During the hike, we will enjoy the cobblestone path lined with majestic cedars, part of the Shinto pilgrimage route. Upon reaching the Kumano Nachi Shrine, one of the three great shrines of Kumano, we will have the opportunity to admire the Seigantoji Temple, with its iconic three-story pagoda, and the impressive Nachi Waterfall, which is 133 meters tall. Finally, at 5:00 PM, we will arrive at the ryokan in Nachi Katsuura for check-in. Dinner will be served at the ryokan. Overnight stay.

NOTE: ENJOY THE ONSEN BATH (HOT SPRINGS)! The ryokan in Nachi Katsuura offers hot spring baths. *There is one bath for women only and another bath for men only. *Traditionally, hotels and ryokans do not allow people with visible tattoos to use the hot spring baths, as tattoos are associated with the Yakuza (Japanese mafia).

DAY 12 • NACHI – KATSUURA – KOYASAN – OSAKA

At 8:15 AM, we will meet in the hotel lobby to depart for Koyasan in a private vehicle with a Spanish-speaking guide. The journey, which will take approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes from Nachi Katsuura, will include a stop for rest and restroom use. Upon our arrival in Koyasan, we will enjoy a traditional vegetarian lunch, "Shojin-ryori," and participate in a meditation experience at one of the Buddhist monasteries, "Shukubo." In the afternoon, we will visit Kongobuji Temple, the headquarters of the Shingon School of Buddhism, and the impressive Okunoin Cemetery, which houses over 200,000 tombstones and cenotaphs amid a forest of thousand-year-old cedars. Finally, we will head to Osaka, about 2 hours away, to arrive at the hotel at 6:15 PM. Check-in and accommodation.

DAY 13 • OSAKA

The transfer to Kansai Airport (KIX) or Itami Airport (ITM) will be by Airport Limousine Bus (without assistance). If the flight is from Kansai (KIX), the guide will provide the bus tickets the day before. However, if the flight is from Itami (ITM), the tickets will be given at checkout. The bus service departs from the terminal located next to the Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka, and the travel time is 50 minutes to Kansai (KIX) and 40 minutes to Itami (ITM). Please note that you must vacate your room before 12:00 PM, the checkout deadline.


Note: The first Airport Limousine Bus arrives at Kansai Airport (KIX) or Itami Airport (ITM) at 6:30 AM. If your flight departs at 8:30 AM or earlier, the transfer will be by a reserved taxi without assistance, and a supplement of 15,000 JPY per passenger (approximately 99 USD) will apply. If a passenger is traveling alone, the supplement will be 30,000 JPY (approximately 197 USD).

HOTELS

  • The hotels mentioned are for reference only; they are the most commonly used in this type of tour. However, when confirming services, it's important to note that the confirmed hotels may be different but of equal category.
  • DOUBLE AND TRIPLE ROOMS: In Japan, hotels offer few double rooms (with one double bed). Typically, twin rooms (with two separate single beds) are used. Rooms with a double bed may be smaller than twin rooms. Triple rooms usually have two single beds and an additional smaller bed. Availability will depend on the hotel at the time of booking. We do not recommend triple rooms for adults.
  • Services like cribs or specific bed types (Twin, King, Queen) are subject to availability at the hotel at the time of booking.

ITINERARY

  • This itinerary may change due to road conditions, weather, other unforeseeable factors, or availability at the time of booking.
  • The order of the itinerary may change, but this will not affect its content.
  • Regular/Shared Services: These services are conducted in groups with other tourists. The transportation, guided tours, and activities are carried out together with other participants. Schedules and the itinerary may be adjusted to coordinate with other groups.
  • Luggage Transport: (Day 4) Luggage will be transported separately by truck from the hotel in Tokyo to the hotel in Kyoto. Between airports and hotels, luggage will be transported in the vehicle’s trunk.
  • (Day 7) Luggage will be transported separately by truck from the hotel in Kyoto to the hotel in Nagoya. Passengers need to prepare and carry a small bag with essentials to spend the night in Kanazawa and another night in Gero.
  • (Day 10) Luggage "may" be transported separately by truck from the hotel in Nagoya to the hotel in Osaka. (If all the luggage fits in the vehicle's trunk, there will be no need to send any luggage separately). In this case, passengers must prepare and carry a small bag with essentials to spend the night in Toba and another in Nachi-Katsuura.
  • Travel documents are provided 6 days before the departure date.

CHILD POLICY

  • Infants (under 1.99 years old): They only pay for air taxes. The exact value is confirmed when the ticket is issued. However, if the baby needs a special seat or any other equipment for the vehicle, please inform us at the time of booking to ensure we can accommodate these needs.
  • Children (2 to 6 years old): Children in this age group pay the child fare. However, we do not provide beds in the hotels, meals, or seats on trains and buses. They will have to share a bed with their parents and will need to sit on the parent’s lap if no seats are available.
  • Children (7 years and older): They pay the adult fare.
  • Room Occupancy: The maximum number of children per room sharing with parents is subject to the policies of each hotel.
  • Documentation: All minors must be accompanied by one of their parents or guardians. Upon check-in, they must present their ID card, valid passport, or birth certificate.

REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER JAPAN

  • To enter Japan, a valid International Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is required. If you have not been vaccinated, please note that you must get vaccinated at least 15 days before the trip. People over 60 years old must present a certificate for the trip.
  • It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure they have the necessary documentation to enter Japan. Please verify if, from your country of residence, you need to obtain a visa or any other documents to enter Japan.
